We Love Serving Our Community
Since our beginning in 2010, community service has been a big part of who we are at Total Dental Care.
We have been richly blessed by our community and we try to give back as much as possible, in as many ways as possible.
Each year, we host a variety of events at our office. We have an annual “Free Dental Day” where we open up our doors to provide free cleanings, extractions and fillings to patients who cannot otherwise afford dental care. We combine this with a canned food drive and ask each person wishing to receive free dental care that day to donate two cans of food, which we then donate to a local food bank. We host a free Oral Cancer Screening event each April. In October, we host a “Halloween Candy Buy-Back” where we pay kids $1.00 per pound for their leftover trick-or-treat candy, then we ship it in care packages to US troops serving overseas. Veterans are important to us at Total Dental Care, so we host a free lunch reception for them each year at Veterans' Day, and we sponsor and participate in the “Run for Warriors” each November. At Christmas time, Santa and Mrs. Claus visit the “No-Cavity Kids Clubhouse” for pictures with our young patients and share in the fun of our Christmas Open House.
We also try to support as many community events as we can, both financially and with our presence. You will see our team at lots of 5K's, health fairs, and other local events handing out free snowcones, hot chocolate or other goodies. You will see us at homecoming parades, Christmas parades and football games. We do many presentations at local elementary schools to help teach kids the value of good oral hygiene. In short, we try to support the people that support us.
